J.W. believe that Jesus Christ was not Jehovah God in the flesh, but rather a created being. They believe that Jesus Christ was Michael the Archangel. (See The Watchtower, May 15, 1963, p. 307)

The Word of God teaches us that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. It teaches us that he is self-existent and not created. (Col 1:14-18 KJV) 14.In whom we have redemption through his blood (speaks of Jesus Christ), even the forgiveness of sins: 15.Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16. For by him (speaking of Jesus Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (this would include angels)17. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18.And he (Jesus Christ) is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. (Col 2:8,9 KJV) 8.Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9.For in him (speaking of Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

J.W. translate John 1:1 "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was 'a' god."

The Word of God says, (De 4:35 KJV) 35.Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. (Mr 12:32 KJV) 32.And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: (1Co 8:4 KJV) 4.As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. Now I ask you, Is Satan a true god or a false god? I pray that you would agree he is a false one. Now I ask you again to read John 1:1 in your (KJV) translation. I ask you, is Jesus a false god or a true one? If He is a true god then J.W. are coming up with more than one true god when they translate John 1:1 "and the word was 'a' god". Any god besides the one true GOD is a false god according to the Bible!

J.W. deny the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ. (See Awake! July 22 1973, p.4 and Let God be True, p.276)
The Word of God says, (Lu 24:39 KJV) 39.Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. Notice he says "flesh and bones" not "flesh and blood", but this flesh and bones show us that He was physically resurrected. (Joh 20:27 KJV) 27.Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. (Joh 2:19-22 KJV) 19.Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. 20. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? 21.But he spake of the temple of his body. 22.When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

J.W. deny the doctrine of Hell. (See, Let God be True, p. 79, 80)

The Word of God says, (Re 20:14-15 KJV) 14.And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.15.And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Lu 16:24 KJV) 24.And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.


J.W. believe that thief on the cross was not saved.

The Word of God says, (Lu 23:43 KJV) And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. I ask you my friend what is paradise? If man completely ceases to exist after his physical death then how would Jesus see this man in this place called paradise in the same day?
